» KKU Architecture student publishes idea for American style bathroom design - receives 2 national awards (1041 Views)

The Faculty of Architecture, Khon Kaen University, congratulates Mr. Wisarut Patchranuchat, a third-year architecture student, who won the second runner-up award as well as the Popular Vote award in the national bathroom design contest from the American Standard Design Award (ASDA) Asia-Pacific 2022, both in the residential category that was announced on 23 March 2022

“The inspiration for the design” Mr. Wisarut Patchranuchat said “was the Luxury Countryside-style bathroom. I got the idea by picking up the mood of rustic simplicity of “old style American bathrooms” and blended it with urban luxury to give people of the bathroom community the American style bathroom of the old times”.

For the success of the student who received this, we would like to thank Ajarn Wicha Kap Kraikaew (special teacher), Assoc. Professor Kulsri Tangsakul and Ajarn Dr. Sininat Korutchin who were the advisors and helped guide the contest guidelines for students to achieve this success.

The American Standard Design Award (ASDA) Asia-Pacific 2022 contest program is a design competition that pays special attention to the brand philosophy, by focusing on user-centered design to ensure hygiene convenience, physical comfort, and peace of mind for consumers. A panel of design experts from all over the Asia-Pacific region took part in the judging committee for this competition.
