» KKU attends a meeting to discuss “AI in Healthcare” workshop with world-class AI experts (753 Views)

AI or Artificial Intelligence is a technology that has changed the world in many fields. As a result, various professions must inevitably change the paradigm in applying artificial intelligence to medical applications (AI in Healthcare). Therefore, it is imperative to increase accuracy, shorten time and enable medical diagnosis to be more efficient.

Dr. Leo Anthony Celi, MIT Critical Data from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), one of the world leaders in AI in Healthcare, agreed with Khon Kaen University to hold workshops and be a participant lecturer in producing AI in Healthcare lessons with KKU Academy.

On 11 May 2022, Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, together with Asst.Prof. Patravoot Vatanasapt, Assoc. Prof. Rosawan Areemit,  Dr. Kitt Tientanopajai, Assoc. Prof. Anupol Panitchote, Dr. Praiwan Padungweang, and Mr. Saran Apichontrakul, representatives of KKU Academy, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, and College of Computing Science, attended an online conference with Dr. Leo Anthony Celi, MIT Critical Data, in order to prepare the “AI in Healthcare”  workshop which is scheduled to be held on February 1-2, 2023 at Khon Kaen University. It is a cooperation between MIT Critical Data and KKU Academy, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, and College of Computing Science, to develop the knowledge and enhance the academic strength of the university's high-level "AI in Healthcare" to be sustainable.
