On May 20, 2022, at 13.30 hrs., the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University (IAD, KKU) together with the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Division, held the 3rd activity of the project “Preparing students to enter the global labor market (Global Perspectives in the Workplace)” via Zoom online, under the topic: How to get a job interview with a job offer from a world-class company.
The activity was honored by Mrs. Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, who gave a welcome speech, thanking the speakers on this activity. It aims to prepare students for international competence in acquiring job interviews to obtain a job offer, to equip students with key techniques, attitudes, guidelines to interview question analysis, good answer preparation, understanding of corporate culture, culture awareness and core values of the organization, as well as allowing students to exchange views and experiences in an interview with an experienced lecturer, Ms. Pin Kasemsiri, Business Development & Partnership Lead from Generation Thailand. More than 80 interested people attended the event.

Mrs. Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, said: “On behalf of the International Affairs Division and the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Division, Khon Kaen University, we want to express our gratitude to the lecturers for giving us the honor to share your knowledge, and exchange useful experiences for students." Job offers, specifically from a leading global company, is something that many students or new graduates dream of. Outstanding qualifications can be one of the elements of obtaining a job opportunity. However, it may not be sufficient for job applications at in the modern era. It is very important to be well prepared for a job interview. The process of interviewing candidates is a method used for assessing the applicant's qualifications and initial experiences to match the employer's requirements, whether they are qualified for the job position or not. During today's lecture, students were provided with key interview techniques, experiences and attitudes to increase their confidence and chances of working with the companies or organizations they are applying with.
