» The administrators of International Affairs discuss academic collaboration with the administrators of Weihenstephan – Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany (619 Views)

On 30 June 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs and Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for
International Affairs, along with the administrators of the International Affairs Division, joined together in warmly welcoming the administrators from Weihenstephan – Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany (HWST) on the occasion of their visit to KKU, to discuss academic research collaborations and jointly creating international master’s degree programs, with the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy (KKBS) as the central unit for coordinating the cooperation.

HWST is a renowned university in Applied Sciences and Green Engineering in the Federal Republic of Germany, with outstanding courses and research, particularly in Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Business & management. These disciplines are strong and very similar to those of many faculties of Khon Kaen University (KKU).

Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs

KKU has academic partnerships with more than 9 leading educational institutions in Germany, totaling more than 48 academic cooperation activities, and more than 11 German faculty and supporting staff alumni who graduated from Germany. The discussion today is therefore an important opportunity for building foreign relations and strengthening academic cooperation,  staff & student exchanges between our two universities in the near future.
