» KKU administrators met with delegates from University of Tsukuba, Japan to develop academic collaboration (495 Views)

On August 10, 2022, at 09.30 hrs. at Kalapruek meeting room 4, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn building, KKU administrators led by Assoc. Prof. Maitree Inprasitha, Vice President for Education and Academic Services, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, together with administrators from the Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN (IRDTP), and Mrs. Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of International Affairs Division, joined the meeting with a delegation from the University of Tsukuba, Japan led by Prof. Ida Yoshiyasu, Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences and Prof. Dr. Isoda Masami, Director of the Center for International Cooperation in Education Development (CRICED), with the objective to discuss cooperation in education exchange, teacher exchange for developing teaching potential, and student exchange including conducting research on teaching and learning.

During the meeting, also other issues were discussed, such as cooperation with the University of Tsukuba, Japan, under the Campus Asia 6 project, which is a cooperation in student exchange with five leading universities in Asia, namely
1) East China Normal University, People's Republic of China
2) Institut Teknologi Bandung, Republic of Indonesia
3) Korea National University of Education, Republic of Korea
4) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia
5) University of Tsukuba, Japan

to develop teaching courses to enhance internationalization.
