» IAD KKU holds International Relations seminar 2022 “Reviewing Quality Development plan and Action plan for IAD for the year 2022 and conveying IR strategy on moving forward to KKU on Global Stage” (862 Views)

During August 20-23, 2022, International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University (IAD, KKU), held a seminar on Reviewing the Quality Improvement plan and Action plan of IAD 2022 at the Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort. The seminar was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs,  Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Topark-ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Mrs.Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of International Affairs Division, together with the International Relations staff of the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University. The seminar aimed to review the Quality Improvement Plan, the International Relation Strategy and Policies to lead KKU towards internationalization, the indicators (OKRs) and budget of the fiscal year 2023, and to exchange knowledge, problems and obstacles in proceeding towards internationalization. The activity was honored by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, who gave a lecture on the topics.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, mentioned that Khon Kaen University is a “World Class University.” Therefore, in order to enter internationalization and become prominent on the international stage “KKU on Global Stage”, it is necessary to convey the strategic issue 9 “Leading KKU to Internationalization” to the staff, so that all involved are aware of the directions in which to go, and the important missions to achieve the objectives. This requires strong collaboration among all IR staff members, the IR network and institutions within KKU and other departments.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Topark-ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs delivered a welcome speech to  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs.

Mrs.Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of International Affairs Division exchanged knowledge, problems and obstacles in proceeding towards internationalization with IAD staff.
