» KKU moves forward by creating an exchange network “KKU Initiative for Learning and Teaching” (KKUiLT) (852 Views)

 

On September 16, 2022, at 14.30-16.30 hrs. at Bayasita@KKU, International Affairs, Khon Kaen University, and the “KKU Initiative for Learning and Teaching (KKUiLT)” project, organized a learning and teaching exchange seminar to build a teaching staff network, under the title “Assessment is Learning.” Honorable lecturers were 1) Dr. Atipong Pathanasethpong, M.D., Faculty of Medicine, 2) Asst. Prof. Kornwipa Poonpon, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and 3) Assoc. Prof. Khwantri Saengprachatanarug, Faculty of Engineering. There was exchange of teaching and learning via group discussion and case study sessions, which allowed the participants to share their experiences and learn techniques of others across disciplines. It was an activity in mixed form (hybrid activity). 

In this regard, the event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, who presided over the ceremony and expressed the vision of KKU Education transformation. The president said, “The KKU initiative for Learning and Teaching (KKUiLT) is one of many parts of the education paradigm shift policy of KKU. It aims to build a network of teachers to exchange knowledge and develop teaching, without interference of the framework of faculties and disciplines. It is the exchange of experiences in learning management in various fields of sciences, provide opportunities to apply these experiences in different disciplines, and to expand to national and international networks to create a learning community and to develop learning truly and sustainably.”
