On September 29, 2022, at 09.30 hrs. at the Graduate School Meeting Room, 4th floor, Bimala Kalakicha Building, Khon Kaen University, the Embassy of France, Thailand, in collaboration with the International Affairs Division, KKU held the special lecture "Studies in France and Scholarships & Fellowship and Mobility Programs" - Campus France Tour 2022. This lecture was honored by Dr. Xavier Grosmaitre, Attaché for Scientific and Higher Education Cooperation, along with Ms. Gabrielle Lenormand, Head of Campus France Thailand, French Embassy, and Mr. Pollawat Kantapom, student advisor, Campus France, French Embassy. The lecture’s objective was to provide information on further education in France, scholarships at different levels, the French education system, how to choose courses and apply for research fellowships, and learn French cultural exchange. The event was attended by more than 60 faculty, students, staff and interested people.
In addition, this event was honored by Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, presided over the ceremony and revealed that Campus France Tour 2022 is an ongoing academic collaboration between Thai and French universities. Moreover, Khon Kaen University has strengthened collaborations with the Embassy of France, Thailand. For example, welcoming H.E. Dr. Thierry Mathou, French Ambassador to Thailand, on the occasion of visiting KKU in 2021, and continuing collaboration in scholarships at the KKU level: matching funds under the Franco-Thai Scholarship Program and research grants: the Franco-Thai Mobility Program (PHC SIAM).
