On 7 December 2022, at 7.00 pm at the Mongkut Phet Grand Ball Room, the administrator of Khon Kaen University, led by Associated Professor Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University together with Assistant Professor Acharawan Topark-ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and the delegates from faculties of KKU attend the Farewell Ceremony of Mr. Sombat Pengprajan, general consul of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Khon Kaen Province. On the occasion of the complete term tenure of the Consul General. Within the event many people attended the event for the honor.
Khon Kaen University and Lao People's Democratic Republic, Especially the Consulate General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Khon Kaen Province, have a strong relationship and continually promote cooperation. Such as in education at the graduate level in the fields of medicine, nursing, education, engineering, agriculture, training, training for personnel, academic services, and cooperative education.
