On January 23, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, together with the faculty staff from the Faculty of Education, and Mr. Isara Suriyagul Na Ayudhaya, Head of the International Affairs Section, warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Michael S. Trevisan, Dean of the College of Education, Washington State University (WSU), USA, with his wife, on the occasion of discussing academic and research collaboration and holding an international academic conference with the Faculty of Education.
Khon Kaen University and Washington State University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in academic cooperation since 2001. However, it is expected to expire soon. In this regard, KKU discussed with WSU renewing the MOU by having the International Affairs Division (IAD) being a center for coordinating and facilitating further steps.
Furthermore, the Educational Administration and Management program, Faculty of Education, has organized cooperative academic activities with WSU until the present. And in 2023, the Educational Administration and Management program was honored to have Prof. Dr. Michael S. Trevisan, Dean of the College of Education, as a special speaker for the workshop conference on "Practical Training in the Evaluation of School Programs: A Strategy for Innovation" for postgraduate students and personnel in the Faculty of Education.
