» KKU discusses academic cooperation with the Minister-Counsellor (Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation)from the Royal Thai Embassy, Washington D.C. (625 Views)

On February 21, 2023, 10:00 hrs. at Sirikunakorn meeting room 5, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, together with Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and Prof. Pewpan Maleewong, M.D., Assistant to the President for Research and Graduate Studies, and Mrs. Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of International Affairs Division, joined a meeting with Dr. Sethapan Krajangwongs, Minister-Counsellor (Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation) from the Royal Thai Embassy, Washington D.C. This meeting aimed to discuss academic cooperation, research, innovation and course cooperation with foreign universities, especially universities in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. There was also a discussion on developing researcher mobility with universities in the Americas and the Thai students union in the USA. 

After the meeting, the minister visited the northeastern science park, KKU, and consulted with the administrators and teaching staff from various faculties such as start-up businesses under KKU's assistance, Global innovation products, tech-transfer cooperation, Science Park cooperation, and others in the future.
