On February 24, 2023, at the special reception room, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, and Mr. Isara Suriyagul Na Ayudhaya, Head of International Affairs Section, welcomed Mr. Dick Custin, Counselor for Public Affairs, with the representatives from the U.S. Embassy, Thailand. During the visit, KKU discussed with the U.S. embassy on academic collaboration, including student mobility, scholarship, and the ways to develop scholarship public relations, as well as the American Corner establishment and other collaborations in the future.
Moreover, the ambassador gave a lecture on “Sharing experience as a Diplomat” at International College and also met with the administrators of International College. In this case, Khon Kaen University and American academic institutions have more than 20 educational, collaborative agreements and 139 cooperative academic activities, and 191 graduates from American universities.
