On February 28, 2023, 14:30 hrs. at the special reception room, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn Building, H.E. Phan Chi Thanh, the ambassador of Vietnam to Thailand, together with the delegations from the embassy, met the administrators of Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs and Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs.  The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen their relationship between both countries and to discuss academic collaborative exchange between Khon Kaen University and leading universities in Vietnam, as well as student mobility, scholarship, and also to publicize other interesting academic scholarship activities such as internship, Active Recruitment, GMS Scholarship in order to persuade Vietnamese students to study at Khon Kaen University.

 

In addition, Khon Kaen University has signed 20 Memorandum of Understandings with Vietnamese universities, 87 academic collaborative activities, and 87 Vietnamese students who received GMS Scholarship during 2005-2022.
