» International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University has a study visit at International Relations Division, Mahidol University- to exchange on international affairs strategy. (489 Views)

On July 16-18, 2023 International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University (IAD, KKU) arranged a study visit and a seminar on improvement and action plans ( the fiscal year of 2023). This event was led by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs at International Relations Division, Mahidol University, to study, visit and exchange on international affairs strategies and missions between Khon Kaen University and Mahidol University. Also, this was a good opportunity to build the organizational network and arrange the IAD seminar to review strategies and guidelines to drive an international mission in Amphawa district, Samut Sakhon Province.

On July 17, 2023, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, together with Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Mrs.Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Acting Director of International Affairs Division, and the KKU International Affairs staff had a study visit and exchanged on International Affairs strategy and mission with the administers and staff from International Relations Division, Mahidol University led by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, and Ms. Wanpimon Senapadpakorn, Director of the International Relations Division. The discussion aimed to exchange knowledge on strategic plans of international affairs, administration, and strategies for leading the University to Internationalization.

International Relations Division, Mahidol University, has projects and administrations to respond to the international policy of Mahidol University. It was divided into (1) Strategic Partnership Engagement, (2) Internationalization, and (3) International staff and Students Service.

During the meeting. They discussed exciting projects, including the University exchanging ideas and guidelines for managing international affairs to exchange management strategies and drive the University towards Internationalization, such as exchanges on the issue of building a network of international cooperation and Internationalization within the University and services to foreigners. After the meeting, the IR staff of Mahidol University led the KKU staff to visit the atmosphere around Mahidol University by electric tram.
