On July 26, 2023, at International Affairs Division meeting room, 4th floor, Bimala Kalakicha building. The representative of International Affairs led by Mr. Isara Suriyagul Na Ayudhaya, Head of International Affairs Section, Khon Kaen University, and the International relations staff of KKU welcomed the delegations from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain: 1.) Ms. Matilde Delgado Chauton, Head of International Relations and Mobility Service and 2.) Ms. Sandra Martin, International Relations Officer. This was a warm atmosphere for knowledge exchange and close discussions as well as exchanging foreign strategies between the two universities, such as services for foreign students and staff, student and staff exchange on supporting cooperation with educational institutions abroad, increasing the proportion of international students and includes project activities, especially in the Erasmus+ under EU funding, as well as the academic cooperation and joint research building in the future.
This was the first UAM, Spain delegations visit under the Erasmus+ project ( Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility) on staff mobility. To exchange and develop staff competencies, support international training skills, and build a cooperative network between Thai and Spanish universities. During 26-28 July 2023, representatives from UAM conducted the project with Thai university partners And during July 25-28, 2023, they arranged the cooperative activities at Khon Kaen University. Moreover, on July 25, 2023, the delegation attended to study Thai language and culture. With KKU lectures and international students. The atmosphere in the event was warm and friendly and truly learned about the intercultural differences.
Importantly, the highlight of this project is a workshop activity: Erasmus+KA171 International Credit Mobility in Spain which will b held on July 27, 2023, at Sirikunakorn meeting room 3, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn Building.
