» KKUiLT hosts a discussing “Learning Assessment with Multiple Choice Question (MCQ): Strengths, Weaknesses, and Applications.” (271 Views)

On August 23, 2023, at 02:30 - 04:00 p.m., Khon Kaen University (KKU) hosted the KKUiLT activity under the title “Learning Assessment with Multiple Choice Question (MCQ): Strengths, Weaknesses, and Applications” via online platform: Zoom meeting. The event was honored by Prof. Atipong Pathanasethpong, the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Joy Belardo; Prof. Jinnapat Boonweeraboot; and Prof. Vorachai Piata, Khon Kaen University Language Institute, as the speakers conversing the topic.

During the first part of the event, all speakers shared their experiences, techniques, and methods for using MCQ to assess learning outcomes. Some mentioned topics are the precautions of using MCQ as well as the problems and obstacles of using MCQ that they have experienced. The event also allowed the participants to exchange their opinions and experiences via Chat Box and provided a Q&A session, which received the attention of many participants. Moreover, the participants also wish KKU to keep holding KKUiLT activities in the future.
