My appreciation to the qualified honorary degree and prize awardees, and all of the successful graduates. As we all know, good education means growth and progress of a person, who is considered civilized. A country full of civilized people can thus be developed into a civilized country, that is, the country with growth from good cultures that are well accepted internationally. All graduates should therefore learn regularly to become civilized both in the intellect and moral. Intellectual growth is derived from regular acquisition of knowledge so that one knows more and knows wider. Then the knowledge should be contemplated on and practiced until it is firm. Moral growth is derived from good conduct, both physically, mentally and orally, without deviation towards badness or taking benefits from others. If graduates can develop themselves as such, they would be happy in their life and works and reach the level of growth. Then the graduates will be able to help develop our country to grow more into a civilized country having peaceful society, graceful culture, prosperous economy, with security and sustainability. On behalf of His Majesty the King, I wish the graduates and everyone here happiness and prosperity.”
