» IAD KKU holds the 2023 second-semester orientation for International students (309 Views)

December 26, 2023 – International Affairs Division held the 2023 second-semester orientation for international students of KKU at Sirikunakorn Meeting Room 3, Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Kwankate Kanistanon, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, welcomed the international students to Khon Kaen University.

The event featured an introduction to the departments and institutes at Khon Kaen University, namely, the Division of International Affairs, the Academic Development and Administration Bureau, the Graduate School, the Library, the Institute of Digital Technology, the KKU Primary Care Unit, and the Sports Division.

The International Student Talk and Share session was where students from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds could meet, talk, learn, and share experiences. Since the students are from various countries and places, such as China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar, this Talk and Share session benefits KKU by building multicultural and global awareness.

In the evening, there was a KKU Campus Tour session. In this session, students were given a ride by KKU Smart Transit Service to see and learn about the campus. IAD staff and interns hosted the tour on the route, providing necessary information about places, suggestions, and valuable tips for living in KKU.
