» Khon Kaen University Administrators Welcoming His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland of the Kingdom of Thailand (278 Views)

On 12 January 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., H.E. Jyri Järviaho, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland of the Kingdom of Thailand, visit Khon Kaen University to participate in the Khon Kaen International Marathon and to discuss ways to develop academic and research cooperation with executives in various faculties, including the Faculty of Engineering Faculty of Business Administration and Accounting and Faculty of Education.

The main points of the negotiations addressed opportunities for developing educational cooperation between Finnish universities and Khon Kaen University, including the development of joint teaching curricula, exchange of personnel and students, and research cooperation. 
The Republic of Finland Ambassador traveled for a study tour of electric battery and motorcycle production systems under the project "Developing a Prototype of the Electric Vehicle Ecosystem in Khon Kaen University" at the Faculty of Engineering.
In addition to that, we also visited the Startup and Small Business Promotion Center for micro-entrepreneurs to study the guidelines and opportunities to promote local businesses. The ambassador also visited the Management of Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, International Division, and English Program.

The ambassador said that coming to meet and discuss this time will strengthen relations and create opportunities for Developing cooperation with educational institutions and entrepreneurs or business owners who will invest from Finland.
