Thursday January 18, 2024 at HS01 meeting room, HS05 building, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khon Kaen University — KKU International Affairs Division, led by Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and Asst. Prof. Kwankate Kanistanon, Acting Director of International Affairs Division, welcomed teachers and students from Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University to the observational study of KKU International Affairs Division’s work organization and management.
Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, delivered a welcome speech, stating that the International Affairs Division is dedicated to promoting and supporting the internationalism of academic research, arts, and culture. The division aims to push Khon Kaen University to become a leading university in world rankings, with the international relations officers serving as a main core.
In this activity, students will have the opportunity to learn about the organizational structure of the International Affairs Division from KKU IAD staff, which will help students gain a new perspective on the routine work of international relations. Additionally, this activity provides training for students interested in pursuing a career in the international relations field in the future. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to the SNRU teachers and staff for joining us today to engage in learning and exchanging ideas about the international relations with KKU IAD.
After the opening ceremony, Asst. Prof. Kwankate Kanistanon, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, delivered a presentation about the division's vision and mission, staff, international relations work, and other in-depth information about KKU IAD.
During the concluding session, there was a pop quiz segment where students from SNRU could converse, learn, and share experiences about the field of international relations with KKU IAD staff.
