Friday, January 26, 2024 – at the reception room, 6th Floor, Sirikunakorn Building – Khon Kaen University administrators, led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University; Prof. Pewpan Maleewong, M.D., Assistant to the President for Research and Graduate Studies; Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs, together with Prof. Dr. Kanchana Sethanan and Asst. Prof. Kwankate Kanistanon, Ph.D., Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, welcomed Professor Ming K. Lim, Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, Professor of Supply Chain Management & Digitalisation, Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, UK, to discuss collaboration in academics, research, and innovation. 

Professor Ming K. Lim specializes in various fields, such as industrial engineering and business healthcare management; he enlightened me on the idea of collaborating in research and academic services with KKU in the future.

Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, has expressed his desire to invite Professor Lim to deliver a lecture for KKU students and medical staff. The lecture would focus on the Health Care Management field, emphasizing the use of modern technology to enhance medical services management. This activity is expected to contribute to expanding medical knowledge and other related fields and create a collaboration between researchers from both institutions.

Moreover, Professor Lim delivered an inspirational speech to researchers, emphasizing that research should not only be for publication but also benefit the industry and society.
