On March 15, 2024, at International Affairs Meeting room, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn building, Mr. Hans Ulrich Südbeck, Chargé d' Affaires and Head of Economic Department, Embassy of the Federal of Germany, Bangkok met with the administrators of Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati Charoen, Vice President for International Affairs, and Dr. Chatchaval Alyathiti, the lecturer of Environmental Engineering department ,the Faculty of Engineering and the president of German alumni and Asst. Prof. Kwankate Kanistanon, director of the International Affairs Division, joined in the welcoming. During the meeting, discussions were held on cooperation in education, research, student and staff exchange, and other collaborations in the future.
In addition, Mr. Hans Ulrich Südbeck Chargé d' Affaires and Head of the Economic Department, Embassy of the Federal of Germany, Bangkok, lectured on "The Role of Germany in the World Community Today" at Khon Kaen University International College. This was honored by Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean, Khon Kaen University International College, administrators, and lecturers welcomed the Chargé d' Affaires. During the event, international relations and diplomacy students joined and discussed the lecture.
The Charge d'Affaires introduced various topics, such as Germany's history, its role and influence on world society in economics, society, and international relations.
