» KKU Promotes Proactive Programs in Myanmar! Attends the 8th Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2024 (282 Views)

On November 17-18, 2024, Khon Kaen University (KKU), represented by the Office of International Affairs, participated in the 8th Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2024 at the Sedona Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar. The Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) organized the event, which the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon supported. The fair aimed to promote Khon Kaen University, its international programs, and the admissions process to students, parents, or anyone interested in Myanmar. The delegation was led by Assistant Professor Khwanket Kanitthananon, Acting Director of the Office of International Affairs, faculty members from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, and the International College.
On November 17, 2024, H.E. Mr. Mongkol Wisitthatham, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, graciously welcomed the administrators and faculty members from Thai universities with warm hospitality. The event was officially opened by Dr. Win Si Thu, Vice President of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), and Mr. U Moe Myint Kyaw, President of the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT).
Khon Kaen University attracted significant interest from prospective students, parents, and other attendees. There was a high demand for education in Thailand, especially at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a strong interest in fields such as Engineering, IT, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Accounting, Tourism, and Humanities and Social Sciences. The event saw a remarkable turnout, with over 800 registrants in attendance.
