On November 18, 2024, International Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University (IAD, KKU) held an orientation event for international students for the second semester of the 2024 academic year. The event took place at the KKU Academy, 9th floor, Information Center Building. The orientation was honored by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, and staff from the International Affairs Division warmly welcomed the international students.

The event provided valuable guidance and information about services offered by various units and organizations within KKU. These included the International Affairs Division, Bureau of Academic Administration and Development, the Graduate School, Khon Kaen University Library, the Office of Digital Technology, and an "International Student Talk and Share" (Roundtable Meet) session. Students from diverse cultural backgrounds attended the orientation, offering them the opportunity to network, exchange experiences, and share insights into social and cultural aspects. This interaction aimed to foster a sense of connection and promote multiculturalism within KKU, enhancing the internationalization of the university's community.

In the afternoon, a KKU Campus Tour was organized, introducing students to essential locations, central facilities, and various service units across the campus. The tour utilized the KKU Smart Transit Service, with staff and students from the International Affairs Division providing detailed information, guidance, and fun facts about the university's key landmarks. The lively, enjoyable, and welcoming event atmosphere left a positive impression on the participants.
