On November 8, 2024, Mr. Suraphon Petcharawara, Vice Chairman of the Khon Kaen University Council and Assoc. Prof. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, Assoc. Prof. Navarat Warapaspat, Vice President for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patrapong Makornves, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Asst. Prof. Narin Chansri, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine held discussions on academic and research collaboration with Heidelberg University in Germany. Heidelberg University is recognized as one of the world's leading institutions, ranking 47th in the QS World University Rankings 2024, particularly excelling in medicine—the discussions aimed to exchange advanced medical knowledge and establish proactive partnerships with renowned medical institutions.

 

 

Additionally, on November 11-12, 2024, Dr. Narongchai Akrasanee, Chairman of the University Council, along with Mr. Suraphon Petcharawara, Assoc. Prof. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, Assoc. Prof. Navarat Warapaspat, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patrapong Makornves, Asst. Prof. Narin Chansri and faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine attended the MEDICA 2024 exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany. MEDICA is a globally significant event showcasing innovative medical and healthcare technologies, featuring forums and lectures by renowned experts. This participation provided an opportunity for Khon Kaen University to explore new medical innovations, driving the university's Medical Hub initiative and enhancing healthcare services and treatments at the national level.
