On Friday, December 20, 2024, Associate Professor Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University (KKU), officially welcomed Professor Wang Dianyuan, Vice President of Jiujiang University (JJU), along with a delegation of faculty members from JJU, the People’s Republic of China, on their first visit to KKU. The meeting also included representatives from KKU’s Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Graduate Study in Management, and the Graduate School. The visit aimed to strengthen academic collaboration between the two universities, focusing on student and staff exchanges as well as the advancement of educational initiatives. Since the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2022 between KKU and JJU, various collaborative activities, including academic exchanges, student and staff mobility programs, and institutional visits, have been conducted. Over the past two years, these activities have cultivated a robust partnership and strengthened mutual understanding, positioning both universities to achieve greater prominence as globally recognized academic institutions.
