Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Sirikunakorn Meeting Room 3, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building – International Affairs Division of KKU (IAD, KKU) organized an orientation for the 'Chit Chat in KKU Workplace 2025' activity. Asst. Prof. Kwankate Kanistanon, Ph.D., Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, delivered a welcoming speech to participants, including students from various countries and staff from multiple divisions and organizations within KKU.
At the orientation, KKU IAD Staff provided details about the upcoming 'Chit Chat in KKU Workplace 2025' activity scheduled for the following weeks, as well as information about participating KKU divisions and organizations, including Human Resources Division, Strategy Division, Communication Affairs Division, Students Affairs and Alumni Relations Division, Students Dormitory Services Division, International Affairs Division, Faculty of Medicine, KKU Council, KKU Academy, Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN, Culture Center, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and International College.
During the end session of the orientation, there were speed Friend and My Globe activities that encouraged participants to communicate in English. This activity aimed to strengthen relationships between international students and KKU staff, and all participants thoroughly enjoyed the game.
'Chit Chat for KKU Workplace' is an activity organized by KKU IAD. International students from Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Nigeria, etc., will be placed in different divisions and organizations within KKU. The objective is to promote English proficiency in the workplace, create an English Environment, and enhance students' professional skills through working with Thai KKU staff, which aligns with KKU's international strategy. Students actively participate in these activities to improve their English, engage in extracurriculars, and take part in part-time jobs offering various benefits.
