On February 27, 2025, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Associate Professor Dr. Nawanat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, welcomed Professor Michael Siminovitch, Professor of Design and Rosenfeld Chair in Energy Efficiency, who also serves as the Director of the California Lighting Technology Center and Associate Director of the Energy Efficiency Center at the University of California, Davis, USA.
On this occasion, both parties discussed academic collaboration in teaching and research with the Faculty of Architecture, and Faculty of Engineering. Professor Michael Siminovitch participated as a Visiting Professor, contributing to an exchange of academic knowledge aimed at fostering faculty exchange, curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and the dissemination of research publications at the international level.
Furthermore, Professor Michael Siminovitch had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with university administrators and faculty members from the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, and KKU Academy. This collaboration seeks to strengthen academic ties between Khon Kaen University and the University of California, Davis, benefiting future academic and educational development.
