March 12, 2025—The International Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University (KKU) welcomed Ms. Sarah Rudling, Marketing and Communications Manager from the University of Western Australia (UWA), along with Ms. Apiradee Bunyalekha, Managing Director, and Ms. Chonnikarn Chaihuadcharoen, Manager—Academic Counsellor, from i-study. The visit aimed to explore potential academic collaborations and international education opportunities between KKU and UWA.
The meeting occurred from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University. Asst. Prof. Dr. Atcharawan Topakngam, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, welcomed the participants and discussed potential educational cooperation.

The objective of the meeting is to introduce UWA CELT's Academic English Courses. TESOL Training UWA's Centre for English Language Teaching (CELT) offers a variety of Academic English courses and TESOL training, which align with the language and academic development needs of KKU students and faculty and Presentation of the 'Study Abroad Program,' This program allows students from KKU to study at UWA for one semester or one academic year at a reduced tuition fee compared to standard rates.

The University of Western Australia is a world-class institution, ranked #77 globally, known for its excellence in research and education. This collaboration is expected to significantly expand international learning opportunities for Khon Kaen University students and faculty.
This discussion marks an important milestone in strengthening academic partnerships between Khon Kaen University, the University of Western Australia, and other international education organizations. The partnership will benefit both parties in curriculum development, student exchange programs, and potential research collaborations in the future.
