This exhibition was held by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) to promote study-abroad opportunities and foster collaboration between Chinese institutions and international institutions. The participation of Khon Kaen University at this time aimed to promote academic programs and recruit Chinese students, which complies with policy in expanding the global education market. Recently, Chinese students have become the biggest group among international students at Khon Kaen University. Also, CIEET was a significant platform for providing up-to-date educational information to students, parents, and interested individuals. Various activities were organized at the event, namely giving insight into overseas study information, an exhibition about overseas study opportunities, conferences on overseas study safety, and exchanging experiences with alumni. This year's event organization attracted more than 130 collaborators from different countries and regions. At this time, Khon Kaen University received much attention from students and parents. One thousand registrations were interested in bachelor's and master's degrees, especially in artificial intelligence engineering, architecture, nursing, business administration, accounting, tourism, and humanities and social sciences.
Khon Kaen University was honored by a visit from Mr. Kajtiti Wiwatwanont, the consul general at Guangzhou, who not only visited the university's booth but also provided strong encouragement to the representative group. His words of support and emphasis on the importance of establishing educational partnerships with China and supporting the expansion of overseas study opportunities for Chinese students in Thailand were a source of optimism for all involved.
