» Happy Chit Chat! IAD, KKU Wraps Up "Chit Chat Summary" Activity –to Promote Effective English Language Use in the Organization (20 Views)

On May 16, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University (IAD,KKU) organized the "Chit Chat Summary" event at Graduate School Meeting Room 1, 4th Floor, Bimala Kalakicha Building. 
This event was honored by Mr. Issara Suriyakul Na Ayudhya, Head of the International Affairs Section. He delivered a closing remark to express appreciation to all participants. He also presented the outcomes and benefits of the activity while inviting feedback and suggestions for improving future program implementation.
The Chit Chat in KKU Workplace program has been ongoing since 2021, providing a fun and engaging platform for practical English language learning. This year, the initiative attracted participants from more than 13 offices and units, including the Human Resources, Division Strategy Division, Communication Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University Council, Student Development and Alumni Relations Division, Student Dormitory Services Division, International Affairs Division, KKU Cultural Center, ASEAN Institute for Professional Teacher Development, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Khon Kaen University International College.
Participants shared that the program significantly boosted their confidence and competence in English, especially in daily communication, workplace settings, and cross-cultural exchanges. There was also strong support for the continued implementation of such activities.
Furthermore, the program provided a valuable opportunity for students to gain insights into organizational culture and working environments, fostering positive relationships between staff and students. It also helped cultivate an international atmosphere within the university and enhanced global awareness, aligning with Khon Kaen University's internationalization strategy.
Ultimately, Chit Chat in KKU Workplace contributed to English language development and provided a meaningful platform for building friendships and mutual understanding among staff and students within a culturally diverse working context.
