» International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University holds International Student Orientation ,the First Semester, Academic Year 2025 (108 Views)

On June 16, 2025, the International Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University organized the Orientation Program for International Students for the First Semester of the 2025 Academic Year at Sirikunakorn Room 3, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building. The event was honored by the presence of ssoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs and Asst.Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, delivered warm welcome speeches to the incoming international students.

The orientation aimed to foster intercultural exchange and build connections among international students from various countries. It also introduced essential services and support units, including the International Affairs Division, the Graduate School, Bureau of academic administration and development, Office of Digital Technology, Khon Kaen University Library (KKULI), and the Sport Division.

The program concluded with the “International Student Talk & Share” session, where international student representatives from various countries shared their experiences of studying and living at Khon Kaen University.

Currently, more than 700 international students are enrolled at KKU. The overall atmosphere of the orientation and related activities was warm, enjoyable, and filled with a sense of friendship, reflecting the university’s strong commitment to promoting internationalization on campus.

In the afternoon, the International Affairs Division also organized the KKU Campus Tour, providing students an opportunity to explore the university’s lush green campus and become familiar with key landmarks and service points. Most participants expressed that the tour was highly beneficial and left a strong positive impression.

In addition to the beautiful surroundings, students were impressed with the university’s modern facilities, such as the KKU Smart Transit Service, as well as the ongoing support from fellow students, faculty, and staff, all of whom are dedicated to enriching the student’s learning experience at KKU.
