On June 23, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, welcomed Professor Dr. Khokiat Kengskool, Professor of Practice in Industrial Engineering and Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia, College of Engineering and Computing, Florida International University (FIU), USA, during his visit to Khon Kaen University (KKU).
Prof. Kengskool presented an overview of FIU to the University Executive Board and engaged in discussions on potential academic collaboration between the two institutions. The dialogue focused on student and faculty exchange programs in various disciplines, including engineering, health sciences, business, and social sciences, as well as scholarship opportunities for KKU students to pursue studies at FIU.
During the visit, Prof. Kengskool also toured key faculties and units, including the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University Library, and KKU Academy. The visit aimed to explore innovative learning environments, digital education technologies, and possibilities for joint academic and research initiatives.
This visit marks a significant step in strengthening KKU’s global engagement and advancing international partnerships that support academic excellence, mobility, and global opportunities for students and faculty.
