» Khon Kaen University and U.S. Embassy, Bangkok, Thailand Host Special Lecture “U.S. Constitution Day Celebration & America 250 Campaign” (65 Views)

Khon Kaen University, led by International Affairs Division, and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Bangkok, Thailand,  organized a special lecture on “U.S. Constitution Day Celebration & America 250 Campaign” to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Constitution (Constitution Day). 

The lecture aimed to promote knowledge and understanding of civic rights, roles, and responsibilities, encourage critical thinking, and foster the exchange of ideas on a global stage. The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Nora Khatcherian, Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer, together with representatives from the U.S. Embassy, who served as guest speakers. The event was also honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Dararat Khampusaen, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivered the opening remarks. The program welcomed over 100 students and participants on September 17, 2025, at the Smart Classroom, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.

More than an academic activity, this event served as a “Global Citizenship Platform”, where Thai students practiced communication, exchanged perspectives, and built international networks. It reflected the role of the younger generation as active global citizens. It highlighted the use of educational soft power to strengthen friendship and long-term cooperation between the two nations.
