» International Affairs Division, KKU Holds a Warm Orientation for International Students, Second Semester, Academic Year 2025 (82 Views)

On November 21, 2025, the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University (IAD, KKU), organized an orientation for international students for the second semester of the 2025 academic year. The event was held at Sirikunakorn Room 3, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building.
The orientation was honored by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-aswapati,  Vice President for International Affairs and Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm,  Assistant to the President for International Affairs who extended a warm welcome to the new students.

The activity aimed to provide international students at Khon Kaen University an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn together, and connect with friends from various countries. The session also introduced university services provided by several departments, including the International Affairs Division, Graduate School, Bureau of Academic Development and Administration, Office of Digital Technology, KKU, Khon Kaen University Library, and KKU Sports Division.

In addition, the event featured an "International Student Talk and Share" session, during which representatives from international student clubs shared their personal experiences of living and studying at Khon Kaen University. Currently, Khon Kaen University hosts over 800 international students. The orientation atmosphere was warm, lively, and filled with friendship, reflecting the university's ongoing commitment to fostering a global environment.

In the afternoon, the International Affairs Division also arranged a KKU Campus Tour to allow new students to experience the serene and green campus environment, become familiar with key locations, and learn about services available throughout the university. Most students expressed that the tour was both functional and deeply impressive.

Students were particularly impressed by the university's modern facilities, such as the KKU Smart Transit Service, the beautiful KKU Green Campus, its rich cultural diversity, and the support system from fellow students, faculty, and university staff who are always ready to offer close guidance.
