» KKU cooperates with the Consul General of Vietnam to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration (153 Views)

On December 4, 2025, Khon Kaen University, led by Asst. Prof. Keeratiporn Jutaviriya, Director of the ASEAN Studies Center, KKU, along with Vietnamese language lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, welcomed and held discussions with Mr. Đinh Hoàng Linh, Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Khon Kaen. The meeting aimed to enhance academic cooperation between the two parties, focusing on Vietnamese language education, research, and academic publication, particularly in areas related to the Mekong River region, culture, education, and international collaborative study.
Discussions also included the proposal to establish a Vietnam Studies Research Center under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This center would serve as a hub for advancing knowledge and fostering systematic academic collaboration in Vietnam studies. This visit marks an essential step in strengthening relations between Khon Kaen University and the Vietnamese Consulate at the local level, and sets the stage for future regional cooperation.
