On Friday, January 30, 2026, the International Affairs Division (IAD) of Khon Kaen University (KKU) organized an orientation day for the ‘Chit Chat in KKU Workplace 2026’ program at Sirikunakorn Meeting Room 3, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building. The orientation was officially opened by Mr. Isara Suriyagul Na Ayudhaya, Acting Director of the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University, who delivered a welcoming speech to the participants. This event was attended by 33 international students and 17 various divisions and faculties within KKU.
During the session, IAD staff provided detailed information about the upcoming 'Chit Chat in KKU Workplace 2026' program. The presentation included an overview of the program objectives, activity schedules for the following weeks, and the participating KKU divisions and faculities.

The 'Chit Chat for KKU Workplace' program is an activity organized by KKU IAD and and has been continuously implemented since 2021. The program has consistently received positive feedback from both international students and KKU staff. In this year, the international students from Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, China, Nigeria, etc., will be placed in different divisions and faculties within KKU.

The objectives of the program are to promote English proficiency in the workplace, create an English Environment, and enhance students' professional skills through working with Thai KKU staff, which aligns with KKU's international strategy. Through active participation, students improve their English proficiency, develop professional competencies, engage in extracurricular activities, and gain valuable part-time work experience.

At the end of the orientation, the Speed Friend activity was conducted to encourage participants to communicate in English. This activity aimed to strengthen relationships between international students and KKU staff, and all participants thoroughly enjoyed the activity.
