On February 10, 2026, at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, together with Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Mr. Isara Suriyagul Na Ayudhaya, Director of the International Affairs Division, attended the Chinese New Year celebration banquet hosted by the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen.

On this occasion, Ms. Liu Hongmei, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen, warmly welcomed distinguished guests and representatives from various public and private sector organizations. The event was attended by a large number of guests, including members of Thai-Chinese associations and organizations, creating a festive and cordial atmosphere.

Participating in this celebration provided an excellent opportunity to honor this significant cultural festival and further strengthen the longstanding ties and friendship between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China.
