BANGKOK (March 20, 2026) – Selected students from Khon Kaen University (KKU) attended the Japanese Chamber of Commerce (JCC) - Bangkok Scholarship (Regional) Awarding Ceremony for the 2025 Academic Year at the Rembrandt Hotel Ballroom, Bangkok. Representing the university was Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Ph.D., Assistant President for International Affairs, also delivered a thank-you speech on behalf of the regional participating universities.
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Hiroshi Kakiuchi, JCC Vice President and Chairman of the Education Section, alongside Mr. Supphachok Sukmak, Director of the Manpower Promotion and Development Division, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). Among the 25 scholarship recipients nationwide, 4 students from Khon Kaen University were honored:
The JCC Scholarship program, in collaboration with MHESI, aims to support first-year undergraduate and graduate students from five regional universities with outstanding academic records and exemplary conduct. Covering various disciplines with an emphasis on environmental sciences, the program plays a vital role in fostering high-potential human resources to contribute to the nation's sustainable development.
