On January 4, 2017, KKU administrators led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Topak-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Collaboration, Thai and Chinese Directors of Confucius Institute at Khon Kaen University, Director of ASEAN Languages Center and the personnel from International Relations Division made a courtesy call to Ms. LI Xiuhua, Vice Consul-General of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen. Also, on January 5, 2017, Asst. Prof. Dr. Teekayu Plangkoon Jorns, Assistant to the President for International Relations, Thai and Chinese Directors of Confucius Institute at Khon Kaen University, and the personnel from International Relations Division visited the Consulate General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to make a new year wish to H.E. Mr. Bounsy Vongbouasy, the Consul-General, the Police Inspector of the Immigration Office in Khon Kaen, and H.E Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Consul General, the Consulate-General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Khon Kaen respectively. It strengthens good connections between official organizations and Khon Kaen University as these organizations have given services to international staff and students and have supported international affairs of Khon Kaen University.
