» A study visit of International Affairs Division , KKU at the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2411 Views)

On February 22, 2019, International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University organized a study visit to      the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute,Ministry of Foreign Affairs.This visit was led by Ms. Netdao Chamroendararasmee, Acting Director of International Affairs Division and participants included 14 IAD staff and security officers. The lecturer was by Dr.Saowaluck Pornwilard, Diplomat professional level who gave information about the Protocol, the Customary Diplomatic Practice, rules, customs and expectations in order to work professionally with VIPs and occasions.In addition, participants also exchange experiences in diplomatic and foreign affairs with the lecturer which can apply or adapt to work more efficiently in Global Connectivity.

This study visit aims to improve the protocol skills and capacity - building of representatives from government agencies/organizations, included learnt the written and unwritten rules of official protocol etiquette, as well as international cultural norms and variations.
