» Special Lecture by Chargé d’Affaires in topic “The U.S. Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy and Thailand” at KKU (1229 Views)

On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, Khon Kaen University Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriakul, MD, Acting President of Khon Kaen University,deans, faculty members, and many students welcomed Chargé d’Affaires Dr.Peter Haymond, The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, on the occasion of his visit and special lecture on “The U.S. Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy and Thailand” which a lot of students from various field and professors interested to attend by over 50 people.                                                    

The lecture was about the importance of good relationships with strong partners and the benefits to trade and peace that these relationships can generate. It is certain that all in attendance were grateful for the opportunity to hear Dr. Peter Haymond speak and gained a clearer understanding of this issue and Thailand’s involvement in it. With a final his lecture to ask - answer with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
