On the evening of June 25, 2019, at 6.00 pm. – 20.00 p.m., at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Khon Kaen University, a special evening of music was enjoyed to celebrate the 200 year anniversary of Thai-U.S. friendship. In attendance were Chargé d’Affaires Peter Haymond, the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, Dr. Somsak Jungtrakul, Khon Kaen Governor, Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriakul, MD. Acting President of Khon Kaen University, other notable delegates, representatives of Khon Kaen University and many students.

Opening the concert were members of the Khon Kaen University, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts Big Band who enlivened the audience with their energetic and accomplished renditions and another section that such a memorable evening. This event considered a good opportunity to support both academic and cultural aspects for students in Khon Kaen University. Additionally, to be ready for internationalization and to further develop the quality of Khon Kaen University.
