» Chinese Graduate KKU to be delighted attending the commencement ceremony (3266 Views)

As commencement ceremony of Khon Kaen University 2019, on 4th December 2019 at Golden Jubilee Convention Hall, Khon Kaen University. His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua appointed Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (H.R.H.) to confer degrees to KKU graduates on the commencement ceremony year 2019.

With approved degrees: 290 Doctoral degrees, 149 Higher graduate diploma, 1,172 Master degrees, 6,387 Bachelor degrees, and the total were 7,998 graduates. On this occasion, 101 foreign graduates attended the commencement ceremony, including 84   doctoral degrees and master's degrees, and 17 bachelor degrees.  

Miss Ziwei, Yin, a Chinese graduate who is one of the foreign graduates from International Affairs, International College revealed that she is so delighted as she has an opportunity receiving the degree from the Princess’s hand whom Chinese love and respect. H.R.H. loves and deeply ties the People's Republic of China since the Princess proceeded every province in China and also studied Chinese, including Chinese art and culture. Until receiving recognition as “Thai-Chinese Goodwill Ambassadors”.

Miss Ziwei, Yin said “I am very delighted and honored to have an opportunity attending commencement ceremony and receive the degree award from the Princess. It’s not just only me who loves and esteem the Princess, but also the president of the Chinese Student Association and the embassy of China, Thailand.  They praise H.R.H as a model of diligence and diplomatic relation. Moreover, they revealed impressive moment when H.R.H visited. We love and worship her Highness very much. H.R.H can communicate in Chinese, and is highly interested in education, Chinese art and culture. H.R.H continuously ties the relationship between China and Thailand as well. And that is very meaningful for me as a Chinese student here.”   

Miss Ziwei, Yin also said that “Thank you KKU for providing this opportunity. During my study at KKU, I had a very great university lifetime. Besides the environment and well- being, I had an opportunity to meet international friends and gain new experience and that is very helpful because I intend to work in regard to international relations.”
