On January 27th January 2020 at Sirikunakorn 5, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn building.  Mr. Michael Heath, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., U.S. Embassy Bangkok, Thailand and his delegations visited the administrators of Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, Acting President of Khon Kaen University, Assoc. Prof. Maitree Inprasitha, Vice President for Education, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and Prof. Pewpan Maleewong, Assistant to the President for Research and Academic Services. This is his first visit of Khon Kaen University. On Jan 26th, he participated in Khon Kaen International Marathon 2020 for 4.5 KM Fun Run). The Chargé d’Affaires impresses this well-organized event. Moreover, he appreciates Khon Kaen province as a SMART city and has a huge economic growing. He especially, appreciates that Khon Kaen University is a center of education and medical hub. Additionally, the visit covered collaboration between Khon Kaen Universities and U.S. Institutions in broad areas, including exchange program of staff and students, research, KKU Health and datathon projects, and the possibilities of future collaboration.
