» KKU Administrators welcome representatives from Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) (1679 Views)

On 24th – 25th February 2020 at Graduated School meeting room, 4th Floor, Bimala Kalakicha Building.The administrators of Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teerachai Nethanomsak, Associate Dean for Student Development, International and Research Affairs, Graduated School,Ms. Netdao Chamroendararasmee, Acting Director of International Affairs Division together with the staff from Graduated School and International Affairs Division welcome the representatives from the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Director of the Human Resources Development Bureau, together with its officials on the occasion of their visiting Khon Kaen University.

The objectives of the visit are to follow-up on the students’ study progress as well as to build up a platform for information exchanges and discussion among the TICA officials, students and Khon Kaen University staff.

Since 2017, Khon Kaen University has accepted 14 student fellows to study at the Master’s degree level from the Kingdom of Bhutan, Kingdom of Cambodia, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, United Republic of Tanzania, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Republic of Maldives and Solomon Islands. These students have enrolled in several faculties which will receive support for scholarships such as tuition fees, fees for international students, accommodation and allowances as well as expenses related to education and research from both the university and TICA.
