» IAD KKU organized a capacity building event to Improve the International Relations Officer Skills (2203 Views)

On August 20, 2020, at 09.00 hrs. at the Graduate School meeting room, 4th floor, Bimala Kalakicha Building, International Affairs Division (IAD), Khon Kaen University held a capacity building event for the development of International Affairs Network staff. This project aimed to develop the potential of the International Affairs Network to work on international affairs and was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Acharawan Topark-ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, who delivered an opening speech together with Ms. Netdao Chamroendararasmee, Acting Director of International Affairs Division and Mrs. Wilawan Ungsunantawiwat, Head of International Affairs Section, who welcomed the attendees. Many international affairs staff from KKU joined the warm atmosphere of the event which focused on real practice.

This event was held over 2 days: August 20-21, 2020, and the training topics were as follows: 
The techniques of a professional Master of Ceremony (MC) by Ms. Jeenatchaya Jeepanatthikarn, a lecturer from Communication Arts major, Ubon Ratchathani University.
Translators and the strategies of English translators, and second language and cross-cultural communication by Dr. Paradee Tungtang.
The basics of martial arts for hosting and escorting visitors by Mr. Bodinthorn Kudun, Head of Security and Traffic, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University.
