On August 27, 2020 Khon Kaen University celebrate Wai Kru or Teacher Day. This occasion is held annually in every faculty, not only for Thai students but also international students. Wai Kru is thai culture to pay respect to Ajarn or Lecture/Teacher by giving a flower and wishing for a good fortune for both Ajarn and students.

International students are so excited to celebrate this event, which for some of them this year is the first time to join and increase knowledge about Thai culture. For those who have joined every year they are still excited to celebrate due to this is a perfect moment to get in touch with their Ajarn or lecturer and for bounding the relationship.

The way to celebrate this event is also different from each faculty, they have their own celebration and tradition bounding with their students both Thai and International students.
