» KKU arranges AI Online Orientation: MIT Critical Data, The United States of America (1327 Views)

On October 8, 2020 at 10.00-12.00 hrs., at Sirikunakorn 3, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn building, International Affairs Division arranged AI Online Orientation in cooperation with MIT Critical Data, The United States of America. This aimed to support the potential of KKU lecturers in Artificial Intelligence (AI) which will lead to developments in AI in Healthcare, including curriculum arrangement and services. This event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, who presided over the event, and Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati Charoen, Vice President for International Affairs, who delivered a report speech.  

Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, revealed that one of the challenges for the university is the extensive competition in teaching and learning, research, and academic services. Khon Kaen University needs to be ready for changes in Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) advancement. Therefore, the support of AI online courses for KKU’s lecturers by MIT Critical Data would encourage them to increase their knowledge of disruptive technology and its application to teaching and learning, research development and improving people’s quality of life as well as in the AI healthcare curriculum and healthcare services advancement of Khon Kaen University in the future.
