» KKU representative attends virtual meeting on the topic of “The 120th Anniversary in Memorial of H.R.H Princess Srinagarindha” to recall Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra (752 Views)

On October 21, 2020, KKU representatives led by Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Deputy to Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, attended a virtual meeting on the topic of “The 120th Anniversary in Memorial of H.R.H Princess Srinagarindha” in cooperation with the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy (HUMP) for the occasion of the 120th anniversary. This event was honored by Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom, Consul-General, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, who delivered a memorial speech. Moreover, the Royal Thai Consulate-General gave a scholarship to HUMP staff in order to study for a master's degree at Khon Kaen University and to strengthen the relationship between Thailand and Vietnam. October 21 marks H.R.H Princess Srinagarindha’s birthday and her kindness towards Thai citizens regarding public health and social works. Therefore, this is considered to be National Nurses’ Day, National Dental Public Health Day, and National Association of Social Workers Day.
